The Sony ICD-UX81 Digital Voice Recorder provides easy playback of unsecure MP3 files via drag and drop. Operating on one AAA battery, the 1.7-ounce recording device includes a Digital Voice Up^® function which increases the playback volume of the person speaking when recorded at a distance. The digital pitch control allows recordings to be heard at slower or faster than normal speeds without distortion to facilitate transcribing or editing, or to move faster than normal to a desired portion. A built-in USB allows the ICD-UX81 to be plugged directly into a USB port on a computer or hub, eliminating the need for cables.
