The Sony ICD-PX312 Digital Voice Recorder records and plays back MP3 audio and features a super high quality mode -- 192kbps MP3 recording with a frequency range up to 20,000Hz. The Sony ICD-PX312 Voice Recorder features 2 GB of built-in IC memory which allows the ICD-PX312 to store up to 536 hours of dictation in LP mode. Memory Stick Micro cards in capacities to 16 GB can be inserted into the unit for different applications. A microSDHC card from 4 GB to 32 GB is also supported. USB 2.0 provides high speed transfer of files and folders to your PC.

Operating on two AAA batteries, the 2.6-ounce recording device includes Digital Pitch Control -- messages played back at various speeds maintain their natural tones thanks to the digital processing. The Intelligent Noise Cut feature helps reduce background sound for recordings made under less-than-ideal circumstances.
